The wood has turned mouldy in the underside after daily use. Noted that it is wood and needs to be dried. Perhaps not suited for daily use.
Hi, thank you for the honest feedback, and I'm sorry the tray let you down. You're right that bamboo needs to dry out between uses. We should have said so clearly on the product page, and we've now added care notes there.
The mould is usually only on the surface. Wipe the underside with white vinegar, leave it for a few minutes, then wipe it clean and let it dry fully. After that, emptying the drip tray and standing the top up to air-dry after each use keeps it clean, even with daily use.
