Product details
Hakura (羽倉) carries a sense of gentle keeping — a quiet, protected place. it's the matcha we made for the in-between drinker: someone who wants one bowl in the morning and one latte in the afternoon, without buying two different tins.
sourced from Kyoto's second-harvest leaves (二番茶), Hakura is an elegant, full-bodied matcha with notes of pistachio and white chocolate. its creamy texture and lingering sweetness make each sip a true delight. whisk it for a refined Usucha, or steam it into a latte that still tastes like real matcha — not a green-tinted milk drink.

Region story:

KYOTO, JAPAN
京都府
kyoto is the spiritual home of japanese matcha. for over 800 years, the hills around uji and the broader kyoto prefecture have refined the craft of shaded tea cultivation, stone milling, and ceremonial preparation. cool mornings, mist that lingers in the valleys, and mineral-rich soil produce leaves with deep umami, gentle sweetness, and the vivid green that ceremonial matcha is known for. every tin of hakura carries that lineage.
